I realized something in French class today. I couldn't describe gothic architecture in French or Roman for that matter. But I can describe how low levels of cholesterol allows Insig to let go of SCAP and thus SREBP can expose its sorting signal and they can travel to the Golgi, get attacked by peptidases and then go into the nucleus with its NLS and bind to SRE to allow HMG CoA reductase to be transcribed.

Simply put, I've become a NERD :)
