On average, each person entering a pool or any swimming area leaves behind 1mg of fecal matter in the water. That may be little, but it adds up to a whole lot of poop when it gets crowded
Viruses and germs are transmitted in the droplets from when someone sneezes. There's a "cloud" that hangs over in a 3 feet radius from the sneezer. So large lecture halls are filled with these sneeze clouds - that's why I hate sitting next to people.....
