Lazy Weekend

I think I like my boy cousin better than my girl cousin! I ate a lot yesterday - Ben and Jerry's sundae, red velvet cupcake, spaghetti and meatballs, potato cakes, and fish and chips! I saw Role Models and I have decided that even though he plays the stupidest people in movies, I like Seann William Scott. Lol.

Turkey Day

Oh what a week this has been - a pretty bad week in my opinion. But, luckily, Turkey Day is here and I actually have stuff to bake! So I spent about four hours in the kitchen. I made Chocolate-Walnut Tassies, Macaroons (that luckily came out edible), and chocolate muffins! I was so proud of myself because it was all from scratch! Now, I'm full from just these sweets and can't eat real food anymore.

and... I read Midnight Sun on Stephenie Meyer's website and i definitely have to read the Twilight series now!

My thoughts so far

So I went to a wedding today. My dad and I went to help pick up some food for the reception. Just my luck - I drop a whole fat tray of food, splattering food everywhere. Worst wedding EVER.

And a few days ago, there was 26 blaring cop cars and SWAT team that passed through an intersection near my house. That was pretty intense.

And... I got my diploma in the mail!

I so think Rahm Emanuel is hot. Is that absolutely weird? Smart people are cool. I was so relieved that Sarah Palin didn't get anywhere near the White House.

And I've began volunteering at an elementary school. It's super scary because I have to teach the little kids to do their homework and I think to myself - how do I explain word problems? They made me think about college, living on my own, parties, independence, how old I am, and how much life they have ahead of them.

The holidays are coming!
